RE/MAX is proud to support Children’s Miracle Network for 27 years.
Each August, we show our continued support by celebrating the Month of Miracles. Since 1992, RE/MAX agents have raised more than $72 Million in Canada for Children’s Hospitals. The dollars raised come from local fundraising events by agents and offices and participating RE/MAX agents donating a portion of their income.
When you see a Miracle Home sign rider on top of a RE/MAX agent’s yard sign, that agent is donating a portion of the sale of the home to their local Children’s Hospital. There are more than 10,000 participating RE/MAX agents and brokers in Canada who support Children’s Hospitals through the Miracle Home Program, Month of Miracles, and more.
RE/MAX Agents put their money where the miracles are. Change kids health. Change the future.

We have been teasing it for a while and we can now officially announce Accessible Trick or Treating!
What is it?
It’s a public relations initiative, that is aimed at helping children with accessibility and mobility issues to join in on the fun on Halloween night. This initiative is a national joint program with Home Depot and RE/MAX Canada.
Home owners can display an ‘Accessible Trick or Treating’ sign to show their home is accessible to kids with mobility limitations on Halloween night. For best results, we suggest they display the sign for a week or two leading up to Halloween to increase awareness in their neighborhood. We have created a fun video to help explain the initiative a bit more.Continue Reading
RE/MAX is pleased to announce the launch of its new expanded Home Value Estimator in Canada, in partnership with Teranet and now available to consumers on REMAX.ca.
Getting a home value estimate is easy, and it’s free. Users simply log into their profile on REMAX.ca, or register to create one, and enter a Canadian address that’s piqued their interest (which isn’t already listed by a real estate agent). Then select the desired address from the drop-down menu. The home value estimate will appear at the top of the searched property page.
The Home Value Estimator Tool is currently available to all Canadian provinces except Saskatchewan and Quebec. RE/MAX of Western Canada is working with Saskatchewan brokers and the Real Estate Board to bring the tool to Saskatchewan in the future.
“RE/MAX understands that today’s consumers want as much access to information as possible. The RE/MAX Home Value Estimator generates accurate, up-to-date estimated values of properties within seconds,” says Elton Ash, Regional Executive Vice President, RE/MAX of Western Canada. “Anecdotally, we’ve already received a lot of positive feedback regarding the usefulness of this tool during our pilot project in British Columbia. We’re excited to now offer home estimates for communities across the entire country.”
The RE/MAX Home Value Estimator is intended as a guide. Homebuyers and sellers are encouraged to contact a RE/MAX agent for more detailed information.

The RE/MAX 2019 ‘Quest for Excellence’ bursary winners were announced earlier this year and since then, we have received a handful of photos, showcasing a few of the recipients receiving their bursaries from a RE/MAX office in their area.
The Quest for Excellence bursary winners have all demonstrated exceptional motivation, leadership and communication skills. As Marie Sheppy, Manager, Corporate Affairs, RE/MAX of Western Canada says, “This year’s Quest for Excellence winners have all shown leadership qualities far beyond their age. It’s amazing to see how much of a positive impact these individuals have made to their communities.”
“The Quest for Excellence program gives us an opportunity to acknowledge amazing young leaders throughout Western Canada. RE/MAX is honoured to support these inspirational students,” says Elton Ash, Regional Executive Vice President, RE/MAX of Western Canada.
Congratulations to all of the 2019 recipients!
CHANGE KIDS HEALTH. CHANGE THE FUTURE
We are reaching out each of you for your help. As you know, RE/MAX of Western Canada is hosting the Activate Conference in Banff, AB. During this year’s conference (October 23-25, 2019) RE/MAX will raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network by having live and silent auctions, as well as a raffle draw for a trip for two to Maui. Previously, our auctions and other fundraising events throughout the conference have raised up to $118,000 during the 3-day event. This could not have been made possible without generous donated items and auction bidders!
We are seeking donated items for our silent auction. Should you wish to donate, you and the donated item will be featured in our exclusive fundraising website, as well as marketed to all affiliates across RE/MAX Canada. Please send your item to us as soon as possible so we can promote for as long as possible prior to the conference. Additionally, please provide a logo or picture of yourself along with a picture of the item to add to the website and print materials. If you don’t have a picture to take of your donation and please provide details.
Donated items can be sent to: Marie Sheppy at RE/MAX of Western Canada, 340, 1060 Manhattan Drive, Kelowna, BC V1Y 9X9.
RE/MAX is proud to be the exclusive fundraising real estate company for 27-years for Children’s Miracle Network. Since 1992, RE/MAX affiliates in Canada have helped raise over $72 million for Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals.

In late 2017, RE/MAX went through a re-brand, refreshing the logo and bringing it into the present. This re-brand helped to energize and refresh the RE/MAX logo, giving it a modern twist that connects to today’s audiences. As of March 31st, 2018, all pre-existing digital media assets were to be updated to the new RE/MAX logo.
This is a friendly reminder that by September 30th, 2019, all Affiliates should have phased out and ended their usage of other existing items (such as signage and non-digital marketing materials) featuring the prior version of the RE/MAX logos.
Don’t be left with outdated branding! By introducing the new logos, we each do our part to help unify and modernize the RE/MAX brand and RE/MAX as a whole!
