RE/MAX Sponsors CMHA Themed Game Nights with WHL

Over the past decade, we have made steady progress across the country when it comes to managing and sharing stories about mental health. Two years of COVID have understandably exacerbated feelings of depression and anxiety, however, for many people—from young children and teenagers to adults and the elderly.

In response to this growing crisis, we have taken our sponsorship with the WHL to another level and are excited to announce WHL and NHL alumni, Kelly Hrudey, as our spokesperson for the upcoming Themed Game Nights supporting the Canadian Mental Health Association. Kelly is also a wonderful advocate for mental health and will be the perfect spokesperson as RE/MAX presents the CMHA Themed Game Nights, with participating teams playing as follows:

There will be videos played at each themed game night featuring Kelly Hrudey showing our support for the Canadian Mental Health Association. Each market will also have custom initiatives to further raise awareness for mental health in their area during the game night.

This series will draw much needed awareness for the Canadian Mental Health Association, an important community mental health organization that operates in 330 communities across the country. With a team of 16,000 staff, volunteers and members, the charity offers “a range of programs, services, supports and expertise”. It also aims to “identify and respond to Canada’s most pressing mental health priorities” and encourage “nationwide system and policy change”.
