RE/MAX of Western Canada Kickstart

The Sales Associate Orientation (SAO) has been renamed to Kickstart and is hosted by the RE/MAX of Western Canada Regional Office in Kelowna and is designed to guide those new to RE/MAX through the many tools and support services we offer to build your business. You will learn about how RE/MAX came to be what it is today, as well as where it is headed, with the integration of technology and networking.

*Please note Sales Associate Orientation is for Sales Associates only (not open for Licensed Administrators)

Course Fee Includes:

〉 The attire is business for all sessions and reception.
〉 You are responsible for booking your own accommodation and travel arrangements.
〉 If you cancel your attendance within 3 business days of the orientation or do not show up, a fee of $150.00 will be assessed to your Broker Owner.

Room reservations should be made at least 3 weeks prior to the start date of the orientation to qualify for reduced rates. Reservations after this time will be based upon availability. Please be aware that hotel check-in time is 4:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Luggage storage is available through the front desk.

RE/MAX of Western Canada reimburses you for one night standard room and tax. This will be credited following your arrival, registration and attendance to both daysIf you fail to notify Manteo Resort and RE/MAX of Western Canada of cancellation or late arrival, accommodation charges will be processed to the credit card provided.

On check-in, Manteo Resort requires a credit card for incidental charges. If a credit card is not provided, a $200 cash deposit (per night) will be required and room charging will not be permitted.

For extended pre-or-post stay, RE/MAX rates for the standard room are available if you are a confirmed registrant of the Sales Associate Orientation. (Reduced rates are subject to availability and a credit card is required at check-in.)


You are responsible for booking your own transportation.


Manteo Resort is located 20 minutes from Kelowna International Airport; it’s a four-hour drive from Vancouver, and a seven-hour drive from Calgary. Regularly scheduled direct flights to Kelowna are provided from Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Seattle, and Toronto. Major airlines serving Kelowna include Air Canada, WestJet and Horizon Airlines/Alaska Airlines.

From Kelowna International Airport:

  • Turn left onto Highway 97 (Harvey Avenue). Follow Highway 97 for approximately 14km to Pandosy Street.
  • Turn left on Pandosy Street and follow for approximately 4km. Pandosy Street becomes Lakeshore Road.
  • Manteo Resort is located at 3762 Lakeshore Road on the right hand side of the road.

From Westside Of Kelowna Bridge:

  • Follow Highway 97 (Harvey Avenue) across the William R. Bennett Bridge to Pandosy Street.
  • Turn right on Pandosy Street and follow for approximately 4km. Pandosy Street becomes Lakeshore Road.
  • Manteo Resort is located at 3762 Lakeshore Road on the right hand side of the road.


Cancellations must be received within 3 business days of the orientation as we need to confirm meals and provide an opportunity for associates on the waiting list to attend.
