Thank You for Helping Fort McMurray!
RE/MAX affiliates throughout Western Canada showed their true colours when disaster hit Fort McMurray in early May.
Thank you to all of those who have contributed to the ongoing relief effort, whether through donations, volunteer time, or, in some cases, even by offering displaced residents somewhere to live.
There is still an opportunity to financially assist in helping Fort McMurray get back on its feet. In mid-May, RE/MAX announced a nationwide initiative to support those affected by the Fort McMurray wildfires.
To support those affected, RE/MAX associates across Canada are able to contribute in a couple of different ways:
1) Agents can make a one-time donation click here
1) Download and fill out the pledge form if you would like to make per transaction donations from the sale of each home (similar to the Miracle Home Program).
2) Return the filled out pledge form to the correct person within your office
Both fundraising options will benefit the Canadian Red Cross: Alberta Fires Emergency Appeal Program.
The dedication to the communities you live and work in is one of the many reasons why RE/MAX agents stand above the crowd. We as a region have made a significant donation and are empowering our network to now make transaction-based donations on an ongoing basis.
